Meet Lucas

I was born in Nampa and raised near Parma, ID. I was home educated K-12, graduated and joined the US Navy in 1999. My first duty station was onboard the USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74) based out of San Diego, CA, where I was deployed twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom. My second duty station was onboard the USS Hopper (DDG-70) stationed out of Pearl Harbor, HI.

My time in the Navy really solidified the concepts of patriotism, teamwork and why a strong military is necessary to the security of the United States of America. I was discharged from Active Duty in 2009 and became a civilian contractor with BAE Systems and worked for the Army 25th Infantry Division out of Schofield Barracks, HI.

I moved back to Idaho in 2012 and have been employed with Cobalt Truck Equipment in Nampa for 13+ years. In my time there, I have worked as a heavy truck mechanic and welder/fabricator, a sales associate, and a purchasing agent.

I live in Caldwell, and enjoy camping, fishing and hunting in the great outdoors of Idaho.

What prompted me to run for office is the observation that our freedoms in this country are being lost, more and more every day. The leftists are continually engaged in an all-out attack on our Constitutional freedoms. For too long, the governing body of America has been filled with wealthy elites who do not represent We the People. Mega corporate interests and lobbyists keep our representatives and officials tied to purse strings, instead of fighting to defend our rights and protect our interests.

That is why I am running for re-election for State Representative of District 11 B. I am a middle-class man who understands the challenges of the middle-class Idaho family. If re-elected, you have my promise to continue fighting to keep all Idahoans on a path towards prosperity, independence and freedom.

Idaho needs conservative and moral leaders, who stand on godly principles and fight to keep the flame of freedom burning. And remember, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” - Sir Edmund Burke.
